Tour of U.S. Consulate Frankfurt on January 19, 2024

The U.S. Consulate General in Frankfurt cordially invites all Ivy Circle members to participate in a tour of the Consulate and a Q&A with Consul General Thatcher Scharpf on Friday, January 19, 2023 at 4:00 pm.

3:40 pm      Arrival and proceed through security
4:00 pm      Welcome remarks by Consul General Thatcher Scharpf
4:15 pm      Tour of the Consulate Facility
4:45 pm      Q&A and discussion
5:00 pm      End of Program

Following the tour, we will meet for dinner/drinks in a nearby restaurant: 

5:30 pm      Dinner/Drinks at Kuli Alma (Zum-Jungen-Straße 10, 60320 Frankfurt am Main, Due to the size of our group, there might not be an à la carte option so please bring some cash to make splitting the bill for shared platters easier.

– tour only
– tour and restaurant
– restaurant only (preference for a spot may be given to tour participants)

– Participants should arrive at the Consulate between 3:30 and 3:40 pm. 
– Cell phones and Bluetooth-paired devices (eg. smartwatches) will not be permitted inside, so if participants could leave such at home, it does speed up the screening process. But they can also be left at the security station.
– Participants should plan to arrive at the Wetzlarerstraße entrance, also known as “CAC 4”.

The Consul General and his principal officers direct the activities of the United States Consulate General in Frankfurt. The Frankfurt Consulate is the largest U.S. consular post and one of the largest diplomatic missions in the world. The Consulate serves the American resident community – including members of the Armed Forces and their families, business people and retirees – and assists many other visitors to Frankfurt.
