Princeton Alumni Event, June 25, 2018

Dear Friends of Princeton and the Ivy Circle:

You are cordially invited to a reception in honor of Professor Harold James organized by the Chair of the PAAG’s Frankfurt Chapter, Dr. Michael Fabricius (a former student of Prof. James). A professor at Princeton’s History Department and the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs, Prof. James currently holds the Visiting Professorship of Financial History at Goethe University´s House of Finance. Professor James’ research focuses on Economics and Financial History and Modern European History, especially on Germany and the European Monetary Union. He is the Claude and Lore Kelly Professor in European Studies, Professor of History and International Affairs and Director of the Program in Contemporary European Politics and Society at Princeton University. In addition, he holds the position of Official Historian at the International Monetary Fund.

The reception will take place on

Monday, June 25, 2018, at 7:00 pm
in the office of Fabricius Vermögensverwaltung GmbH,
Opernplatz 10 (vis-à-vis the Opera)

Professor James will briefly share his views on the current state of transatlantic economic relations and other questions of interest (as, for example, the lessons to be learned from Lehman’s failure 2008, ten years later, as laid out in a recent conference at Goethe
University and a written comment)

Equally important, this evening promises to become a great opportunity to get together, to reconnect and to get to know each other.

Please RSVP by email to [email protected] by Thursday, June 21, indicating the number of people attending.
