Professor James’ research focuses on Economics and Financial History and Modern European History, especially on Germany and the European Monetary Union. He is the Claude and Lore Kelly Professor in European Studies, Professor of History and International Affairs and Director of the Program in Contemporary European Politics and Society at Princeton University. In addition, he holds the position of Official Historian at the International Monetary Fund.
The reception will take place on

in the office of Fabricius Vermögensverwaltung GmbH,
Opernplatz 10 (vis-à-vis the Opera)
Professor James will briefly share his views on the current state of transatlantic economic relations and other questions of interest (as, for example, the lessons to be learned from Lehman’s failure 2008, ten years later, as laid out in a recent conference at Goethe
University and a written comment)
Equally important, this evening promises to become a great opportunity to get together, to reconnect and to get to know each other.
