An invite of the Harvard Club of Munich
Dr. Steffen Pauls is one of Europe’s most influential voices in the evolution of private markets. A former KKR Managing Director with a PhD in economics, he founded Moonfare in 2016 and built it into a leading platform that opens curated private-equity opportunities to a broader investor base. His work has redefined how individuals engage with an asset class once reserved for global institutions. Moonfare was the subject of a recent Harvard Business School case study, underscoring its role in transforming private-market access.
Before dinner is served, Dr. Pauls will examine how private markets are entering a new “permissionless era”, leveraging digital platforms and emerging technologies. In particular, AI is dismantling long-standing barriers to participation. He will outline why value creation increasingly takes place in private markets, how AI is accelerating this transformation, and why thoughtful selection has become the decisive factor in successful investing. The session will offer a clear view of the opportunities set to shape the next decade and what it means to invest with confidence in a world that no longer waits for permission. And of course, there will be plenty of room for Q+A.
Registration required.
Costs for Participation:
